The owners have a 160 acres property and the retreat had to be designed in such a way as to provide a comfortable shelter while also blending in with the setting as much as possible rather than attracting attention to it through an opulent architecture.
The house consists of 10 modules and its shape has an L plan to frame the views toward the oak trees toward the south and east. The longer side of the structure is oriented from east to west and has an open plan with the living room, kitchen and dining room opened toward a covered patio to the south. This area also includes a fireplace and a swimming pool offering a place to relax when it is either warm or cold.
The master bedroom spreads toward the north and it ends with a private deck that is placed toward the east to ensure a perfect view of the sunrise and receive extra light during the mornings.
